SKETCHBOOKWelcome to the most personal side of my work, the sketchbooks. I was inspired to upload some excerpts from my sketchbooks over the years after participating in the Art House Co-op Sketchbook Tour (beginning April 2012).
While I've always been very interested in seeing the "incomplete" or cursory works of artists that I admire, it never really occurred to me that anyone would want to see my own... until I started sharing my sketchbooks with friends. These works are a little more personal - they expose much of my thought process and lifestyle. I tend to use my sketchbooks as a journal, so there's a glimpse who I was at the time that I was filling the book, in image and word. |
