I am so very excited to be posting this. I just completed my pencil test with sound on a short animation for a program I did in LA, the UCLA Summer Institute for Animation. I have so badly wanted the chance to take some time to really obsess over this medium in the traditional sense, and to begin telling more of my own stories. This summer has really recharged me creatively and I'm so excited about so many ideas I have been working on and thinking about. I wish I had 4 more arms and a convenient inability to sleep. Maybe then I could keep up with all the projects I want to be working on. I'm pleased to bring back my little taekwondo character in this short. While there is no ink and no color, (you won't get to enjoy her fiery red hair just yet), I really think you get a great portrait of who this character is, and a chance to appreciate the hand made quality of this work. She finally has a name by the way - it's Rosie.
