I've been waiting a long time to write this post! Please enjoy my first collaborative work with my twin sister, Natalie - a music video for Darryl Joseph Hoffman's The Trance, which features the lovely and extremely talented, Paige Fraser. It just premiered this past Friday, August 17th in New York City.
When I first agreed to collaborate on this project, it was because of the song. This was all we initially had to work with and Nat and I created a narrative that could incorporate Paige's dancing. To preserve whatever interpretation you may have, I won't go into too much detail - our broader themes concerned ephemeral beauty, the 'muse', love, yearning and boundaries. We were visually inspired by the look of sheet music, down to the lines and notes, as well as what I found was a icy, crystalized quality in the song. Hence the polygons replacing the notes.

Please enjoy The Trance and I would LOVE to know what you think. Below are some screenshots from the video.
Hey everyone - I've been away for a bit - it's been a very busy summer indeed so far! And happily, I can display one of the fruits of my efforts these past few months: the logo you see above. It's a custom design by yours truly for MALARIOUS! - a collaborative fundraiser between Collegehumor and Malaria No More to conquer malaria once and for all. You can check it out here: http://www.collegehumor.com/malarious
Basically, to do your part in helping this cause, all you have to do is donate as little as $1 to watch a bunch of celebrities do ridiculous things, and your money will go directly to Malaria No More. I say it's a win-win situation. You laugh AND do something good for humanity. GO MALARIOUS!!
