Hey everyone, I'm really excited to finally be able to show you something that explains a bit of what I do in the art world by day. As you know, when I'm not a night owl working on other projects and personal work, I work full time making concept art for television. Because it is 'concept art,' I can never really expose any of it. That would jeopardize the success of the idea. It could take years to see a show idea get off the ground and into your televisions, and so this is why this kind of artwork stays under wraps for so long. I recently came across some work from my early days in this industry and found one of my set designs for the show we now know as "Chopped" on the FoodNetwork.
Originally, I was only showing this to a few close 'foodie' friends for their amusement. (e.g. "oh my god, I LOVE THAT SHOW!!") But I figured it might be nice for you guys to witness this process too. You never know how many things you see around you started off somewhere as a drawing!
