THE VIEW FROM BLUE The images featured are stills from a large animation project that is currently a work in progress. Working title, The View from Blue, this piece is a meditation on the rift between a child and adult perception of shared locations. The View from Blue is inspired from the artist's own childhood and her observations of people. It speaks of the current of change that grows stronger in individuals as they grow older and manipulates the emotional consistency of the world around them. Personal transformations of the heart and body can, over time, make our world new over and over again, for better or for worse. Here to the left, is our main character, Colette. |
